Japanese influence in Taiwanese Culture

I often find Japanese words in Taiwanese related products here in San Francisco. This Tapioca(kind of sweet tea) place, tea house, from Taiwan has a poster with mixed language.

Everyone said "Weather in SF is something wrong." Till last week, yes, there was something wrong. It had been raining and almost no sun shine.

But! this week, it was great.

The first pic is around Columbus st, called North Beach. I wondered where the beach is. The second is in Castro, Gay people's place. Isn' it funny? Saying "Does your mother know" to gays. The third is in Haight. It would be great day if the weather was good.

Yosemite

I had a chance to visit Yosemite in this spring. I was just great! Not like dried summer, Yosemite in spring is so different. Everything looks bright and vivid.

I heard the falls will disapper in summer, because they are made of melting snows on mountains.
